EXHIBITORS

The G.R.E.A.T. National Training Conference is designed for individuals currently implementing the G.R.E.A.T. Program, as well as those who want to become involved with the program. Approximately 400 attendees are expected.

EXHIBIT CRITERIA

G.R.E.A.T. is a school-based program with lessons that focus on life skills. Vendors and organizations that offer services and/or products that complement or supplement the program in a positive manner are welcome to submit an application to exhibit. Exhibitor applications will be reviewed for these criteria and then accepted on a space-available basis and will be processed in the order received according to the additional criteria for exhibiting below:

  • All exhibitors must submit an application.
  • Applications must be received with full payment by Monday, June 2, 2008, if applicable.
  • For-profit vendors and organizations, with the exception of authorized G.R.E.A.T. vendors, must submit a sample of products along with the application (e.g., catalog, DVD, or information packet).
  • Nonprofit and government vendors, with the exception of U.S. Department of Justice programs, must submit an informational flyer or pamphlet along with the application.
  • Exhibitor displays must not exceed the allotted exhibit space of 7′ deep x 10′ wide.
  • A representative must be available during all scheduled exhibit times.
  • Audiovisuals or any other type of device that creates noise shall operate at a level that does not interfere with other exhibitors.
  • Cancellations must be in writing (a refund will be granted if cancellation is received 60 days prior to the start date of the conference, less a $50 processing fee).
  • All exhibits must be positioned during the scheduled setup times.
  • Exhibits may not be disassembled before the end of the final session on each day.

No direct product sales are permitted at the display, although orders may be accepted for future payment and shipment. Samples may be given away.

EXHIBITOR FEES

Charges for exhibit space are as follows:

  • Private, for-profit businesses: $500
  • Nonprofit or governmental organizations: No charge
  • (Exhibitors will have full attendee privileges, including meals and workshops.)

ASSIGNMENT OF EXHIBIT SPACE

Exhibitor space will be provided in a general area outside the conference meeting rooms. Exhibitor space will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Complete the Exhibitor Application and Hold Harmless Clause, and fax or mail as soon as possible to the following address to reserve an area for your organization:

PACKAGE/SHIPMENT HANDLING

The hotel has limited storage space. Guests/Exhibitors will incur a handling fee on all incoming packages (1 to 20 packages at $5 per package) shipped to the conference hotel. The fee includes delivery to the exhibiting area. Pickup and delivery to guest room(s) may be arranged by contacting the Bellman, located on the first-floor lobby, near the concierge. Items should be shipped to the hotel for arrival no more than three days prior to the start of the conference. Items arriving more than three days prior to the start of the conference will be accepted only if storage space is available, and a daily storage fee will be charged in addition to handling fees.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Sleeping accommodations for participants and exhibitors are available at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis Riverfront at a special rate of $111. Sleeping room rates are subject to taxes, which are currently 11.99 percent. Reservations may be made directly with the hotel at (314) 655-1234, no later than June 24, 2008, and reference the G.R.E.A.T. Conference.
